Waking Up Catholic – RCIA Information and Resources

Waking Up Catholic - Vatican Sunrise

Find out about my new project: Directional Faith.

As a spiritual director focused on Ignatian spirituality, I can help you learn to discern God’s will for YOUR life.

How we got here…

Everyone comes to faith for different reasons.  Often times, we end up with more questions than answers, but hopefully, you can find the answers you are looking for here at WakingUpCatholic.com.  WUC’s goal is to help you find the answers to some of the most common questions.

Exploring Catholic RCIA?

Are you going through Catholic RCIA?  Well, this website is designed with you in mind.  The RCIA process can leave just as many questions as answers.  As I went through RCIA, I spent a great deal of time researching about a number of topics – from the Virgin Mary to the Sacraments,  My journey through RCIA was a very spiritually enlightening one, and I hope yours is too.

On this site, you’ll find information about the core beliefs of the Church, but instead of coming from someone with a PhD in theology, the answers you will find are from someone just like you.  I do not have an advanced degree.  My life took me through the same Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or RCIA, process you may be going through now.  At one time, I had many of the same questions that you have, and I sat in the same chair in a Catholic RCIA class as you.  Now, I want to share with you what I have learned as I went through the process.

On a regular basis, I will add new content, and I’ll share with you the sources of what I am finding so that you can continue in your own studies.  Everything I post will come from the Bible, the Catechism, ancient texts, and even the Church itself through local priests.  Whether you are going through RCIA to become Catholic, you are a Cradle Catholic, or you are new to faith, I hope you will find the answers that you are looking for.

Thank you for stopping by.  God bless.
